The Women's Empowerment Board (WEB) was founded in January
2004 by Jacque Smith Jovic. WEB is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization that raises money for local charities which are
dedicated to empowering women.
WEB is comprised partially of women in the media, including Fox
8's Stacey Bell. Board members volunteer their time and money to
plan the annual fundraising event and empowerment workshops.
WEB has donated to Laura's Home which is a branch of The City
Mission, The Women's Center of Greater Cleveland and The
Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. This year's beneficiary is the
YWCA Domestic Violence Outreach Program.
